The study aimed to reveal the relationship between psychological risk factors (the positions of Stressful Life - Depression - eating disorder) have university students and metabolic syndrome.

And to identify the difference in risk factors for the female students of the university, according to body mass index (over weight-obesity-high obesity - obese).

The study sample consisted of (100) female students from the university, aged between (20-22) a year, was the application of a measure the positions of Stressful Life (preparation Zainab Mohammed Shakir) and Depression Inventory (Gharib Abdel Fattah strange setting), and the measure of Eating Disorders (the researcher) The results showed that there is a correlation statistically significant between the positions of stressful life and relationship metabolic syndrome among university students, and the results showed a correlation statistically significant between depression and metabolic syndrome among university students, and no correlation statistically significant relationship between eating disorders and metabolic among university students „ there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the positions of stressful life according to body mass index (overweight - obese -high obesity -obesity).
