Background and Objective: Diabetes is a metabolic disorder of multiple factors.

It is described as a chronic increase of blood glucose with disorder in metabolism of lipids and protiens, it is often associated with sever ophthalmic, vascular, renal, oral and dental complications.

This study aims to analyse the relation between HbAlc and the number of missed teeth in mouth.

Methods and Materials: The study was carried on 86 diabetics mellitus patients, the disease was diagnosed for at least 5 years, and was performedby using HbA1c test.

Results: The patients in this Study were (86),(34)of them were males and (52)females.

The age group 52-55 is biggest in the sample and forms 30.2% of the sample.

The average of glucose hemoglobin was 8.477 with Standard deviation 1.0871 and difference of 1.182,the value for the glucose hemoglobin is 9.9 and the lowest value is 6.1 Conclusion: This study concluded that there is strong relation between HbA1c and the number of the missed teeth in the mouth.
