التعرض للعنف عبر شبكة الانترنت و تأثيره على سلوكيات الشباب الجزائري : دراسة حالة

This study aims to identify the used methods by Algerian youth to watch violent via internet and its impacts on their behavior, and measure differences on these results according to their personal characteristics.

The study was conducted with 300 high school students aged between 15 and 25 years old, affiliated to three levels of education in a set of Jijel province establishments, and results were analyzed with the statistical package for social sciences ( version 19).

The results revealed that the Algerian youth exposure to violence were made via the general network, facebook site and violent films respectively.

The influences were centered around the influence of the killing and wounding contents, their desire for holding power and dominating their environment, taking violent behaviors as insulting colleagues at school.

Also, the results revealed that there are no significant differences in the Algerian youth exposure to violence according to age and years of study, while significant differences had been registered in term of daily hours of working on internet.
