خصائص مورفولوجية و تشريحية لنوعين من الحماض Oxalis L. من الفصيلة الحماضية Oxalidaceae

There are two species from genus Oxalis L.

in Syria, distinguished by significant economic value, ornamental and food for Oxalis pes-caprae L.

and sang chemical contains –many of them useful in medical treatments for Oxalis corniculata L.

The study confirmed the presence of morphological and anatomical differences within the population of Oxalis corniculata, reliable distinctive taxonomic criteria, including we proposed to accept a group of individuals with green leaves as an “ independent group” within the members of the species.

It has also been emphasized that there are differences for a number of taxonomic characteristics, including: the number of secondary nervs (2°), order of nervation, length and width of the terminal leaflet, tissue structure characteristic of the lamina petiole, stem and root in both studied species.

This research has enabled us to formulated a taxonomic key for these two species.
