The aim of this report is discuss the subject of educational media in one of the Gulf countries , through identifying the role of the educational media in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its tasks to develop the students` educational abilities and the skilled abilities, which today have become a major basis in the educational and learning process.

This research tries to show the effectiveness of educational media and what messages it presents to develop the personal and life abilities for the secondary education students.

The research has applied the descriptive approach and the survey method on secondary education students in the kingdom of Bahrain.

It concentrated on around 500 students independently and 33 educational experts on the other end.

It followed two main sets of questionnaires as the media to collect these information.

One for the students: The status of the students in following up of educational Media, the status of their contribution to the same media, and the last part focuses on Educational Media and Personal skills.

As for as the other part which focuses on Experts of Educational media showing the follow ups of educational Media and the status of concentration of Schools on the Educational media, with the participation of students in the educational media activities.

While the last part deals with the media of education and personal skills.

The result of the study shows the statistical evidences of the presence of significant differences in this field in Bahrain.

There is (α≤ 0.05( variation in the role of educational media of Ministry of Education of Kingdom of Bahrain in the development of personal skills towards students of Secondary level due to the gender difference in female students.

The same (α≤ 0.05( statistical variation in the role of educational media of Kingdom of Bahrain in developing the personal skill among the students of Secondary education due the difference in Governorates.

And the difference of (α≤ 0.05( is prevailing in the role of education media of Ministry of Education in developing the personal skills of students due to other special reasons Based on the results of this study, few suggestions are presented.

The most important of them are: the use of social media and to enhance the role of educational media in developing the personal skills of students and to disseminate the culture of educational media from curricula, tools, mechanisms, experiences and experiences among teachers in general and supervisors of educational media in particular.

School television as an effective mechanism in the educational process, as well as interest in the school press, in terms of it is a tool of education and training and training, whether in paper or electronic load.

Also, it was proposed to create a specialized institution, concerned with educational information
