Technology in the medical field has become a very wide spread notion in the media nowadays.

This is what made the concept of Health technology a modern tendency of this sector.

Most of the governments work for the aim of developing the health sector and the well-being of the citizen, because the health sector is a base of success for these governments which consider that the health technology is the best way to achieve their goals.

This paper attempts to conduct a thorough research in the field of health Technology by exploring its advantages and usages in the health systems.

More precisely, it deals with the application of artificial intelligence, the assisting technology and the electronic health without avoiding mentioning the different barriers that limit the use of technology in the health sector.
