The Algerian saharian city and the problem of urbanism Presentation :Dr.Bachir Talha The phenomenon of urbanization is considered as a problematic phenomenon as some researchers name it,because of its complexity and the diversity of the ways of handling it,and its differences to the difference of the scientific fields that treated it through varied visions which formed an important scientific settlings in its explanation over time.On the other hand,this treatment contributed in complicating the phenomenon because of the overlapping between several approaches of the different knowledge fields,specifically ,sociology and sociology of urbanism which presented early contributions to interpret this phenomenon and be near of it ,according to its different schools this paper seeks to re-present this subject as one of the basic dimensions and relates it to the saharian environment as a second dimension.
