Been identified through this study on the nature of the hierarchy of urban centers in Wasit province, through the volumetric distribution of these centers, and the applicability of the base position and size and the law of Jefferson and guide hegemony, it has also been identified on the size of the imbalance equilibrium in network cities of the province through the application of urban equilibrium, as The study tried to detect a relationship between the sizes of these centers and the divergence of each other, as well as identifying layers urban centers, which establish general criteria for the sequence of these centers according to their sizes to gain access to an integrated urban system.

To highlight the findings of the study is to control city of Kut on the rest of the cities of the province of Wasit of (17) a city where accounted for (47.18%) of the residents attended the province for the year 2013.

This was reflected in the acquisition of most of the commercial, industrial and service institutions in the province, as well as superiority of the workforce in those institutions.

The study also found non-application of the base rank-sized urban system in the study area.

The study ended with some recommendations and proposals.
