Jalal Al-Hanafi viewed the cultural and civilized aspects of life as the only certain guarantee to develop the human awareness in all societies, especially the Iraqi society which is featured of having a diversity of inherited cultures that are rooted in it since ages.

Jalal Al-Hanafi is well known for his openness to the literary and cultural activities and his support for the cultural elements with civilizational elements, and their role in expanding the human realizations.

In addition he showed a consistency on including the role of the press in propagating the inherent ideas that can be responsible for the edification of a society and expanding its members' awareness.

Al-Hanafi had left an effective print because of his own personal diligence and his acquaintance with ten of original primary sources inside and outside the Iraqi Libraries.

Furthermore, Al-Hanafi was so much attached to the cultural heritage of Bagdad, a matter that led him to reflect many phases of its social life, especially the social relations and its traditional habits in his ideas and theses and his significant literary, ideological and journalistic outcome.
