Koribaa Nabhani is an Algerian professor of philosophy.

He was born in 1918 at Ouled Jalal in Biskra from an honorable and a rich family, his father was a merchant of Dates, highly respected among the dignitaries of Biskra.

He attended primary school there before moving to Algiers to spend eight years in Bugeaud secondary school.

He did not want to spend all his life working in the trade of Dates, so he travelled to France to continue his studies at the secondary school Louis the Great, and there he got his baccalaureate of philosophy.

In 1967 he obtained his doctorate on the subject of Good and Evil in Qur'an.

In the eighties of the last century Koribaa Nabhani retired from the University of Algiers and died in 2005.

He left behind him a lot of works which represents a mixture of philosophy and art.

In fact Koribaa Nabhani was an artist who adores beauty with a delicate sense and creative imagination and contemplates it with an open bright mind.

The aim of this paper is to discover the thought of this eminent Algerian professor of philosophy and to identify his points of view concerning many issues political, religious, or cultural such as understanding the reasons of the moral decay and degeneration in Arabic Muslim societies, the role of politics, religion, education, the intellectual elite and the status of women in society.
