The idea of such thesis is to search for the relationship between the connection pronoun for the sentences in the Arabic Syntax and the pronoun reference handled by grammarians in the modern age.

It is defined as one of the grammar molds.

It is a relationship which is apparently in consistence.

However, the more deeper grammarians adopting the opinion of the most important grammarian of his age Ibn Hesham shall find that it is necessary to consider and study some of Ibn Hesham's Opinions more carefully and scrutiny.

From such point, the researcher is interested to search in the non-connecting pronoun at Ibn Hesham.

The importance of such thesis lies in two aspects.

The first one is: How to benefit from the western school in the field of linguistics and how to find their Arabic corresponding approaches through the Arabic heritage rich in leading and pioneering opinions in all levels without any abuse or hiding or belittling for the concepts just to be in harmony with others.

The second aspect is to release and to get rid of the absolute subordination and to consider the opinions of the predecessors – with full observance and admission for their favor – as not protecting opinions that can be criticized and rectified.

The thesis has been divided into the following sections: First Section: Connection, definition and tools.

Second Section: pronoun connection in syntax.

Third section: Pronoun Reference.

Fourth Reference: positions of non-connecting pronoun.

The most important results concluded by such thesis is that: such molds had not been authored or composed in the Arabic speech – as said by Ibn Malek.

Ibn Hesham commented on them and inserted them in the three type of sentences in which the pronoun is mentioned but it is not connecting.

However, Ibn Hesham did not mention his opinion expressly in such matters either with agreement or not – whether in ancient times or in recent times- according to my knowledge and information.

He only discussed them by explanation and reasoning in the same manner did by Ibn Hayan in his comment on the third matter and mention the reason for permission and the reason for rejection as well as the hint done by one of the recent grammarians in following the opinion of Ibn Hesham.
