This paper aimed to present the evolution of the technological means created by the information revolution, not only for the positive impact that has had on all aspects of human life, but also on the repercussions of the military sector, as information technology occupies the second place after nuclear weapons according to the military's interest, and the rivalry to acquire the latest, this interest may not be new since it dates back to the 1950's, But the new may be in the transformation caused by the information revolution in the military sector of countries, starting by ways of collecting and processing informations, to send and exploit, and planning in order to take the appropriate action according to the data obtained, than that we can see the change in the form of confrontation between countries, and more so the new forms of both war and security threats to countries as a result of progress in technology means and information systems.
