Arab countries have achieved several improvements at the level of health systems which are significant in the field of health care such as high rates of health coverage and basic health indicators development through important infrastructures (hospitals and clinics), human resources (doctors) and others.

However, the health system in the Arab countries is still ineffective and unable to cope with international competition as it faces some challenges that weaken its efficiency, namely, funding and organization imbalances, imbalances related to management systems and health services and other environmental factors surrounding welfare health institutions.

Due to this situation, health policy makers should build flexible health systems that respond to local and global changes and increase their ability to supply complete, equitable and high quality health care within the framework of a sustainable development strateg
