The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of using activities based on the Montessori Approach in developing the skills of science processes among fourth-grade students.

A semi-experimental design was used and a study sample of 62 students was divided into two groups.

The frst group consisted of 31 students and the control group consisted of 31 students.

To achieve the aim of the study, a Montessori room was set up with six corners, each of which had several shelves for educational activities.

In addition, a teacher’s guide was prepared to help the instructor implement the Montessori Method for the experimental group.

This instrument was designed to answer the research question.

The science processes skills test consisted of 20 items.

Reliability was checked by internal consistency methods using Alfa Cronbach.

The reliability value is 0.82, which is clearly suitable for the purpose of this study.

The results of the study showed statistically signifcant differences of a = 0.05 between the mean scores of the two groups in the science processes skills in favor of the experimental group.

In the light of the previous results, the study recommends holding training workshops for science teachers using the Montessori’s approach.
