الملخص EN

The present study explores the fact of making coordination and integration between educational career and psychological services in the Algerian school.

It also sets into motion the possibility of achieving this aim in practical context.

It is worth noting that school life has been characterized by the rapid change rapidly in that affected and distorted the original culture of society.

This, in return, has inflicted a huge burden on school as an educational institution which has become incapable individually of refining its environment and provide the learner with knowledge and positive values to establish good relationships with others.

Thus, the modern school has created many of the areas that require cooperation and coordination within the framework of integrating both teaching career and educational tributaries; such as, psychological services represented in guidance and counseling to (1) achieve the desired change in attitudes that hinder both school attendees and students, (2) prevent their academic achievement according to the concepts of coordinating cooperative education, and (3) improve school life.

Within the present study, the approach used diagnosed the school setting and highlighted the literature review on the topic.

It surveyed the points of views of the major actors in the school, both teachers and guidance counselors.

The questionnaires used were directed to a sample population of 120 respondents: 90 teachers in both middle and secondary schools and 30 guidance counselors.

The main topic of the survey dealt with areas of cooperation and integration and their necessity in the school management system.

The questionnaires were prepared with two different forms; the data were analyzed using the critical ratio test for indicating the significance of differences between the two independent proportions to illustrate the need for pairing and coordination between both careers.

The results of the study confirmed the aforementioned hypothesis about the need for integration between both educational career and psychological services is necessary in the school environment.

Besides, there existed an agreement between both teachers and counselors on the integration of both factors is seen as a means to improve the school environment and activate students’ orientation towards learning and adaption
