Algeria has been hurried, like the other countries, to launch a new tourism policy aimed at developing and promoting the Algerian tourism product, and its integration into the world tourism market under conditions of sustainable tourism development, and this through Master Plan for Tourism Development (MPTD 2025) which constitutes the strategic framework of reference for the tourism policy in Algeria to the horizon of 2025.

In light of these world changes and contemporary challenges, to what extent can Algeria consider the tourism sector as a strategic alternative to exhaustible petroleum resources to achieve sustainable development?.
