This study aims at determining the extent of disabled children families' needs and its relation to the disabled child gender and disability type.

the research is restricted to a sample of(60) families that have a disabled child in ajlun city.

the methodology used in this research is analytical and descriptive in which a scale was applied after composing it of (29) rows divided into three dimension columns: knowledge needs dimension, the psychosocial dimension and materialistic dimension.

the study shows the following results: the extent of disabled children families' needs score very high.

there are differences of statistical significance (α=0.05) which refer to the impact of the disabled gender in all dimensions and in the total sum, the results are in favor of males.

there aren't any differences related of statistical significance in the level (α=0.05) caused by the disability type in all dimensions and in the instrument as a whole.
