This research aims to provide a critical and analytical descriptive study of the corpus of linguistic dictionaries developed by modernists Arabs through uncovering the most important linguistic problems contained at various levels : phonetic, morphological, synthetics, lexical, semantic, this on one hand, while trying to monitor the different methodological defects recorded in these works; and which relate primarily to the extent of their response to the controls of modern lexicography, as the issue of labeling, and the issue of disparity in the terminological balance, and combination randomness, and the instability of the situation mechanisms, on the other hand; all that in order to monitor the linguistic and methodology obstacles that impede the march of the linguistic dictionary in Arabic culture in order to rid it of them.
