The objective of this article is to explore the plainness of the explanations in elucidating Sibawayeh’s Book.

We limit the study to the elucidation of Sibawayeh’s Book by Alaeelam Chantamari since his explanation is in parallel with the task of definition which necessitates lucidity, eloquence, inclusion and exclusion.

Thus, to what extent has the elucidator been successful in clarifying Sibawayeh’s Book? And if the intention of the explanation is simplicity and easiness, has Ala3elam Chantamari really been capable of maximizing the obviousness of the Book’s terms? Then, is it possible to say that the abundance of definitions sometimes leads to complexity and blinding?
