This study aimed to concentrate on some of the economic and social aspects in the city of Nablus in the early twelfth century and that by studying the buying and selling process of the residential property in the city during the period between 1808 and 1816/1817.

The researcher has investigated the buying and selling process of three residential facilities .

The study was based on a legitimate record in the Nablus Shari'a Court number 7 which covers the time period of the study and this record is saved the log of Court of Nablus legitimacy in the city of Nablus and a photocopy of it is available in Najah National University Library and another photocopy is reserved in documents, manuscripts and studies the Levant in Jordan University Centre.

The study investigated the process of buying and selling of the three residential facilities whether selling the whole property or partially sold selling addition to the real estate of these properties and the ways of buying and selling them in that period as well as the study investigated the role of the women in Nabblus city in the process of buying .
