Algerian University seeks to seek ways of modem methods in education, style of learning and distance education, which offers many advantages and benefits above all to save time, effort and costs, in addition to to improve the overall level of the university's collection and teacher's help and the student to provide an attractive learning environment, but its use is still in ts infancy, where this education is facing barriers and challenges, if the technology is not to adopt a uniform standard for writing or technical content and the protection of personal information and the ability to penetration or teaching, is the lack of involvement of teachers in the industry this type of 'education.Despite the efforts made by the authorities of the relevant institutions of higher education to develop education systems to respond to the pressures of major social and economic changes that are not supported by the current traditional educational systems still the e-learning has not taken its way to the application where this education faces obstacles and challenges, including the infrastructure to provide this type of training and preparation of trained human cadres.

Our study will attempt to shed light on how to use modern technologies to develop e-learning and its benefits in the higher education sector, as well as the efforts and challenges it will face.
