The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between the behavioral patterns (a, b), and methods of dealing with stress, as well as the differences between the sexes and economic level in each of the behavioral types, and methods of dealing with stress among a sample consisted (118) patients with heart disease, and by the application of the behavioral patterns scale set up by “farah otoum” (1999), and the methods of dealing with stress scale prepared by “pulhan” (1999), translated by“scheherazade boushadoub” (2009), and after the statistical analysis of the results.

the later showed the following: -there is no relationship between the behavioral patterns (a, b), and (low, middle, and high) methods of dealing focused on the problem, and solve the problem method, while has been reached and there is a relationship between behavioral patterns (a, b) and (low, middle, and high) use search method.

-there is a relationship between the behavioral pattern (a), and pattern (b) (low, middle, and high) in the use of intensive methods on emotion, and in each of the (avoidance, cognitive re-evaluation, and blame self).

-there are differences between males and females in the behavioral pattern (a), where the males than the belief in the behavioral pattern (a), while females were more belief in the behavioral pattern (b) more than males.

-there are no differences between males and females in the methods of dealing focused on the problem, while the back of the difference in each of the solution to the problem approach in favor of males, and in the method of seeking social support in favor of females, as it has been reached and there are differences in intensive methods on the emotion in favor of females as well as the avoidance of self-blame and style, while the study did not show differences in the re-assessment of knowledge between the sexes from heart patients.
