If the purpose of coursebooks is to put the learner in the real teaching process, the purpose of the activities and tasks exploited in it is to approximate the definition of concepts and terminology to the minds of students.

Perhaps one of the most noticeable observations that we can notice in coursebooks, especially in scientific coursbooks, is that the coursebooks use a particular kind of definition labeled “educative definitions” as the most effective strategy in explaining the scientific terms and concepts in the different educational tasks.

In addition to that, this strategy contributes to a great extent in explaining the ambiguity of those scientific terms and their scientific definitions.
