The Role of instructional leaders in planning by using modern technology: An Example of Khartou state.

This study is concerned with the role of instructional leaders in planning, using modern technology in secondary level education its goals are to identity the extent of educational leaders a quantenance of the steps of applying the modern technology systems in educational planning and the benifits of applying the modern technology system in thefeild of educational planning.

The researcher used the descriptive and analytical method.

A questionnaire and interveiws were used as data collection tools from a sample of (10) of ministry of education leaders and (111) educational leaders from the locality of Khartoum.

Discriptive statistics (frequency) means and persentages were used in data analysis, in adaitionte non parametric statistics (the square).

Results revealed that modern technology is used in educational planning.

Also the results confirmed the existence of barrieis to applying the modern technology system in the field of educational planning in Sudan.

The study also confirmed the presence of benifits for applying the modern technology system in verifying the instructional goals in the the instructional process.

The study presented some recommendations which included: preparing clear plans which are used of verifying educational goals, and working to provide adequate aids to be used in the educational process.

Also preparing training courses for educational leaders and giving more concern to the quality of the method modern technology.
