This study aimed to reveal the efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the science of jurisprudential rules, where it quoted from his works great and valued rules that were an incentive for Al shafi'ia later.

The study also sought to extrapolate the rules that were quoted and how those rules influenced Al shafi'i doctrine in particular and the science of jurisprudential rules in general.

The main problem of the study concentrate on the efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the science of jurisprudence rules and investigate the impact of those rules in finding solutions and confront the emerging and Innovative issues and their ability to accommodate everything that is new.

The comparative descriptive and the analytical, as well as the inductive approach, were used to trace the most important jurisprudential rules that were quoted by Imam Al shafi'i, and its impact in the subsequent jurisprudence rules.

The study concluded that the efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the science of jurisprudence had a great role in establishing this science whereas the Jurists of Al shafi'i doctrine have transferred some of these rules as it is, and rephrasing others and added to some others.

The study also showed the possibility of using the jurisprudential rules to face innovative issues and accommodate everything that is new.
