The study aimed at measuring the attitudes of the disabled towards the follow-up of the media and satisfying their needs.

The researcher used the social survey method as the most suitable method for the field study through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (100) males and females in Jazan region.

After applying the questionnaire, The results showed that the motives for exposure to the media are concentrated in the search for knowledge, entertainment and information gathering.

The results also showed that the disabled prefer television than other media, The results showed that they are ranked last because of the lack of necessary programs that enable a large segment of blind and deaf to deal with them.

In light of the results of the research, the researcher recommended the needs of the disabled media in priority policies, plans and programs adopted by print and electronic media, Programs to find their needs and satisfy their aspirations, as well as to address their audience of the blind and deaf in a way that allows them to understand the content of newspapers or magazines, as well as activation of the sign language in the programs provided by the care of the unification of symbols so that the speakers Understanding .
