This article presents the role of reinsurance, as a means of mitigating risk, continues to grow.
In the context of Solvency, it is destined to become for insurers a key tool for managing their exposures and their own funds.
Currently the reinsurance contract is presented in very varied forms, the wide range of which is designed to best meet the specific needs of ceding companies.

Cet article présent le rôle de la réassurance, en tant qu un moyen atténuant le risque, ne cesse de se développer.
Dans le cadre de Solvabilité, elle est appelée à devenir pour les assureurs un outil clé de gestion de leurs expositions et de leurs fonds propres.
Actuellement le contrat de réassurance est présenté sous formes très variées dont le large éventail a vocation à répondre au mieux aux besoins spécifiques des cédantes.
