The study aimed to identify the social and psychological motivation to commit suicide from the students of Princess Rahma university college points of view, It also amid to identify the impact of qualitative variables on those motivations, The sample of the study consisted of (243) .The students were selected on the basis of stratified random from all academic majors offered at the college.

The data was analyzed using the descriptive statistics, Multivariate Analysis (ANOVA), Scheffe Test, and the Independent Sample T-test.

The results showed, that the most important psychological motivation were the feeling of being completely unable face life’s difficulties, drugs addiction, showing off, experienced a strong shock, and depression.

On the others hand, the most essential social motives were, forcing the girl or young man to marry someone whom they do not want to be with, segregation of children, the restrictions imposed on children by their parents, and constant tension among family members.

Further, The results showed in statistically insignificant difference in the social and psychological motives attributed to gender.

However, there were statistically significant differences attributed to the father's level of education in favor of students whose their parents had a secondary education or lower
