The Bank of Algeria has recently implemented a quantitative easing policy under a law that has dangerous repercussions on the overall level of prices especially in parallel of the increase in aggregate demand and weak supply elasticity without any good effects on the national economy, strictly since the general price levels are high compared to developed countries which resorted to this policy at almost zero inflation rates due to the low levels of aggregate demand.

Due to the strong response to aggregate supply, quantitative easing programs in both the United States and the European Union have led to high growth rates within acceptable inflation levels, and decrements in unemployment rates.
