The study entitled : employment of the new media in strengthening the cultural identity (applied study on youth).

the study aimed to identify the recruitment of youth for the new media in the dissemination of Sudanese cultural heritage, beside to uncover to extent are the youth sticking to the cultural identity under the new media.

the researchers used the descriptive and survey method.

analyzing data statistically by using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS).

the study reached to some results top of them: that the new media contributes in forming the youth culture, that the youth can be attracted to the Sudan's cultural heritage if it marketed attractively in the means of the new media, that the youth's sticking to and protecting the cultural heritage, their keenness and concerning to search for the national culture through the means of the new media.

that the cultural conflict being experienced by youth is due to the difference between the inherited culture and culture of the new media .

besides their susceptible to its means, the difficult of resisting before the new cultural changes, and that the tendency towards rejuvenation, innovation and the interest of youth in self-assertion and prove their excellence from the old people as a cause to youth being using their own culture.
