The present study aims to identify the effect of decision-making patterns in adopting the Blue Ocean strategy.

This subject (how managers make decisions) is so important in the field of administrative thought within the framework of the behavioral theory, especially after (Simon) refuted the idea of absolute rationality of managers.

In addition, he was pointed out that those managers, when taking decisions, are subject to psychological, environmental, and even "mood" factors that made a certain pattern of thinking leading to a particular decision that lead the decision-making process.

The decision-making process affects the operational and strategic decisions adopted by the organization, and the later decisions have a greater impact on the future of the organization, which motivated the researchers to study the subject through a sample of the administrative leaders working in the bank (Rashid and Iraqi Trade).

By using questioner the date was collected, and analyzed by using (SPSS var.25 and AMOS var.23) programmers.

A number of conclusions were reached, the most important being that the rational thinking style is the dominant style in both banks.

One of the most important recommendations was the need to stimulate the mechanisms of other thinking styles among managers In order to encourage the adoption of more appropriate strategies for the Iraqi market.
