As a poet, Abi Mihjin Althaqafi is considered as the forerunner in the battle field and fighting the enemies of Islam in different battles.

Abi Mihjin has a characterized leaps and bounds because he is well-known for being tough in war as well as for his attitude towards fighting.

In poetry, however, Abi Mihjin is a great poet who acknowledged the art of poetry, how to make sense of meanings and its resources and how to harmonize the attitudes and circumstances with poem he is writing, and that every poem he writes is a reflection of an incidence he has experienced and affected him while he lived it as an immediate reality in his era and influenced him.

Thus, such circumstances arouse his poetic talent.

Most of his poetry reflects the sincerity of his feelings and the manifestation of his poetic experience and his ability to verse and improvisation.

Poetic speeches are flowing from his tongue easily and fluently without compelling the poetic verses from no knowledge.

Despite of his impoverished productions, yet this impoverishment of poems is collected by our scholar who consider them as masterpiece of Arabic poetry and as a creative aspect of the poets productions, as well as it is considered as a miracle in terms of well-net of the words and well coherent way of reflecting the poetic image, in addition, the meters and rhymes, and these are main reasons that invite me to investigate the poetry of this poet.

The current paper is concerned with investigating the rhetorical image that manifests in the poems and the poetic lines of the poet, thus, the topic of this paper is decided to be addressed ''the manifestation of the rhetorical image in the poems of Abi Mihjin Althaqafi''.

So, the field of the current paper is focusing on the poetic rhetorical image and its manifestation in the poetry of Abi Mihjin Althaqafi.

The paper field is focusing on the poems that are edited by sheik Abo Hilal al-Askari.

The researcher take in consideration the rhetorical opinions which are mentioned by Abo Hilal al-Askari when he explains the lines and the poems in general.
