The study research tackles (the post colonial association in Shawqi Al-Musawi's drawings) in four chapters; the first chapter includes the methodical framework of the study research.

The problem of the study research is represented by this question ( what is the post Colonial associations in Shawqi Al-Musawi's drawings).

The aim of the study research is (recognizing the post colonial a in Shawqi Al-Musawi's drawings).

While the research is specified in ( the study of the finished paintings in different colors and materials for the period 1988-2015.

The first chapter ends in definitions of terminologies included in the research title.

The second chapter discusses the theoretical framework, which consists of three fields of research.

The first field tackles (theoretical post colonialism concept and practicing), the second field tackles(post colonialism in the Iraqi modern painting- associations and showdowns), while the third field deals with (Shawqi Al-Musawi's experiment).

The third chapter discusses ( the study research measures and its methodicalness) represented by the contents of the study research which are 300 paintings.

in addition to the research sample taken by the purposive way which is amounted at (8) paintings.

this chapter also includes the research method represented by the descriptive analytic approach, then the tool of the study research represented by the analysis form which gained 82% degree of credibility according to the opinions of group of experts.

And finally analyzing the sample depending on the terms of the analysis form.

The fourth chapter deals with the results and conclusions in addition to the recommendations and suggestions.

The below are some of the results concluded by the research: 1- The post colonial associations showed in (Al-Musawi's) drawings represented by the violation of values by all means and methods whether they are political, social, cultural or economical.

2- The collapse of the post colonial speech showed in (Al-Musawi's) drawings through the cultural osmosis in the painter's adoption to the expressive abstractive style in all of the sample's templates.

3- The post colonial associations showed in (Al-Musawi's) drawings through the margining and rapture in reflection to some of the European counter ideas through control and domination and scientific technical modern, and post-modern, progress which dredges the elements of civilization, science and humanity.
