The political speeches depend on a number of fallacies and rhetorical tricks or on symbols and expressions capable of conveying what the politicians want to express whether the people are with or against them.

This research includes the electoral speech which represents part of a larger political speech and also represents the implications and descriptionns of the political speech.

This study deals with a very important political time in the history of Iraq after 2003.

During this time, there are many poltical parties and a democratic process.

This practical study deals with electoral speech in 2004 and discusses two two types of rhetorics: the rhetorics of the speaker (the rhetorics of persuasion) through banners and the photos and the direct verbal speech in front of people or the TV speech.

The second type is the rhetorics of receiver (respondent/the people or the response rhetorics).

The study sheds light on these two types of rhetorics and it is divided into two sides: first, it concentrates on the rhetorics of persuasion through the use of photos, the expression and the speech of the candidate.

The second side is concentrating on the rhetorics of people and their verbal response and non-verbal response just like the rhetorics of kissing the election photos and tearing these photos up, and the rhetorics of cheering.

This study makes use of photos representing a language Indicative for all the speeches studied in this research
