Le développement durable en Algérie à la lumière des objectifs du millénaire pour le développement : les acquis, les contraintes et les défis

The objective of this study is to describe in detail the progress made by the Algerian indicators relating to the eight Millennium Development Goals ,since the independence of the country in 1962 up to the present day, and by way of the two reference dates.

namely 1990 and 2015.

In particular, we will discuss achievements and constraints on the following issues: eradicate extreme poverty and hunger , achieve universal primary education , promote gender equality and empower women ,reduce child mortality , improve maternal health , combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis , environmental protection , and Algeria's place in terms of develop a global partnership for development.

To do this, we used a set of statistical indicators for each of the eight sustainable development challenges.
