The political parties are considered as a mechanism that enrich the political life and provide the appropriate conditions of political practice, within a democratic climate and a full consciousness of its importance.

This study aims to shed light on the particularities of the functions of political parties in Africa, as it reflects the social reality implying lot of contradictions leading to ethnics and religious conflicts, all forms of corruption and the absence of development in its global definition, that one in the context of making the occident experience as an example, which expressing of the democratic evolution which the economic and social, political circumstances imposed it, which the societies had known it, with showing the underlying factors behind the inability of doing its real functions.
