The objective of this study is to try to know the reality of corporate social responsibility in the institutions operating in the Algerian Petroleum Sector, As an applied case, the case of Group Bir Seba (GBRS) in Hassi Massoud was studied, The social responsibility of Group Bir Seba Oil was assessed according to the contribution in the four areas of social responsibility: The field of public contributions, human resources, natural resources and environmental contributions, product or service contributions; The study found that Group Bir Seba Oil has an awareness and interest in the concept of corporate social responsibility and is committed to contributing to every area of corporate social responsibility and especially the area of Humana resources they have special interest.

The study recommends that corporate social responsibility contribution should be organized in Periodic and regular programs form, especially philanthropy, and recommends that reports on corporate social responsibility should be prepared and disclosed in order to understand the social responsibility reality of the company.
