This research deals with the strategy of developing the interests of the archive, since the performance of any work or profession requires the development of a clear strategy before embarking on this work or profession.

This strategy is usually based on a clear vision through diagnosis and in-depth study of the reality of this profession in the field, Then select the objectives and actions to be taken over specific time periods.

The archive of the brotherhood of Mentori University of Constantine was chosen as a field for this research to try to identify the strategy of developing the archives interest in this university.

The main obstacles facing the implementation of this strategy For the future of the archive in the light of its institutional and public environment.

The research was based on a descriptive approach that is considered the most appropriate in such subjects.

The research concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is the existence of a strategy to develop the interest of the archive of the brotherhood university Menturi Constantine, with some obstacles that make it difficult to reflect this strategy on the ground.

The presentation of some proposals, which are based on raising the awareness of the university administration of the need to upgrade the interest of the archive, and contribute to overcoming the obstacles and push towards the development and promotion of the interests of archives in Algerian universities.
