الإنتاجية العلمية للمؤلفين في المجلة اليمنية للبحوث و الدراسات الزراعية (1994- 2015 م)‎

This study aimed to analyze the scientific productivity of the authors of the materials published in the Yemeni Journal for Research and Agricultural Studies ( 30numbers) since the publication of the first issue in 1994until the last number of them in 2015, using the bibliometric approach to describe and analyze the data statistically.

The study included 450titles in the magazine, of which about half (%53.4) were found to be single authors, while the rest were divided between multiple authoring articles and multiple authorship (approximately %23each).

The two-author articles ranked first (%49.7), and the authors' articles ranked second (%33.3).

Most of the authors (about %70) contributed to one article and only one time.

The majority of the authors of the articles published in the studied magazine (%79) were in the category of authors with low scientific productivity, while the high scientific productivity category included about %11( 38authors only), among which 12authors achieved an average of 7scientific articles published.

The results also showed a partial correlation with Lautka's law, which is characterized by the convergence of some of the current study values with the default values of the said law, and it was noted that the greatest discrepancy was in the case of the values of articles with 2and 3authors.

The study concluded with some conclusions and future proposals related to enhancing the scientific productivity of the authors.
