This study aimed to clarify the concept of strategic control, after clarifying the Censorship and its methods, in addition to clarifying the performance measurement and evaluation processes as well as presenting the Balanced Scorecard method to measure the performance and trying to apply it to the Algerian National Road works Company (ALTRO); as an important strategic tool to measure the overall performance of the Companies The analytical descriptive approach was used in this study to test and analyze hypotheses and to arrive at suggestions regarding the situation or phenomenon studied, as well as a case study method in evaluating the performance of the Algerian National Road works Company (ALTRO) over a period of five years from 2014 to In 2018.

It has been found that strategic control is an important process that enables the Company to achieve its planned objectives.

Balanced Scorecard contributes greatly to improve the overall performance of the Company.

It is also found that the Algerian National Road works Company (ALTRO) has all the necessary requirements to establish a Balanced Scorecard and to evaluate its performance.
