الملخص الإنجليزي

The aim of the research was to detect both the methods of learning (comparative competition and self-competition) accompanied by feedback in learning some of the basic skills of football for students.

The research hypotheses showed significant differences in the level of skill performance between the two research groups and for the benefit of students who learn according to the methods of competition The study sample consisted of students of the third stage of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Kufa (55) students for the academic year 2017-2018, and The researcher concluded that the methods of comparative and subjective competition have a positive effect on the development of basic skills in the research for students.

Football, and the method of comparative competition was better than the method of self-competition in learning basic skills (rolling and scoring), as well as the method of self-competition was better than the method of comparison (handling), convergence in both methods (scoring), and The most important recommendations to emphasize the use of the two methods of competition in learning the basic skills for students of football, the need for change and diversification in educational methods because of its great importance in enriching the learning process.
