The present study designed to investigate the effect of phenolic compound of Fagonia bruguieri on some biochemical parameters of healthy and; diabetic female rats.

The female rates divided in to six groups (six anima for each group).

The first group treated orally with 0.5 ml of normal saline for 30 days negative control group .

The second group injected I.P.

with 0.5 ml of 125 mg/kg of aloxane as positive control group .

The third and fourth groups treated orally with 0.5 ml of 150 mg/ kg and 300 mg/ kg of phenolic compound of F.

bruguieri for 30 days .

The fifth and sixth groups were injected with 0.5 mL of aloxane at 125 mg / kg in the peritoneal cavity and then treated orally with 0.5 ml of 150 mg/ kg and 300 mg/ kg of phenolic compound of F.

bruguieri for 30 days .

At the end of the treatment period, female rats were explained in each group.

The results of the present study showed a significant increase (P <0.05) in the level of sugar and Malondialdehyde and a significant decrease (P <0.05) in the level of seroplasmin and albumin in the second group compared to the other groups, while the results did not record any significant differences in blood sugar level In the third, fourth, fifth and sixth groups compared to the first group.

There were no significant differences in the level of Malondialldehyde in groups (3 rd and 4 th) compared with the first group, while significantly higher (P <0.05) in groups (fifth and sixth) With the first group, declining (P <0.05) in group (5) compared to the first group, while there was no significant difference in the level of albumin in the rest of the groups compared to the first group, a significant increase (P <0.05) in the level of seroplasmin in the fourth group and a significant decrease (P <0.05) in group (3) compared with the first group, while the other groups showed no significant differences compared to the first group.

There was a significant increase (P <0.05) in cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL and VLDL levels, and a significant decrease (P <0.05) in HDL in group 2 compared with the first group (P <0.05) in serum cholesterol levels (4 and 5) (P <0.05) at the level of triglycerides in groups (fifth and sixth), while the other groups did not show any any significant difference in the level of LDL (P <0.05) at the VLDL level in groups (3, 5 and 6).
