The current research aims to identify: 1- the emotional suppression of students.

2- psychological stress among students.

3-Finding the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological stress among university students.

4-Differences in the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological stress among university students according to the gender variable (males and females).

5-Differences in the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological stress among university students according to the variable phase (first and fourth).

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher selected (400) students of the university students (160) students and (240) students and scientific and humanities.

The researcher adopted a measure (Talib, 2013) for emotional suppression consisting of (24) paragraph and a measure (Alkasi,2009) for Psychological stress Consisting of (82) paragraphs.

After the extraction of the psychometric properties of the two measures, the measure of emotional suppression in its final form consisted of (22) paragraphs and (82) paragraphs of psychological pressure and after applying them to the research sample, the results showed.

1-University students have a level close to the satisfactory average of emotional suppression while enjoying a higher than average level of psychological stress.

2-There is a positive relationship between emotional Suppression and psychological stress, so that the higher the psychological pressure of the sample, the higher the level of emotional suppression they have.

3-There are no differences in the relationship between emotional suppression and psychological stress depending on the sex variable (males, females), and the stage (first and fourth).

In light of the results of the research, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations as well as a number of proposals.
