The present study aims at recognizing the impediments that face academic researchers and the ways to overcome them in Hebron District.

The data of 65 female as well as male researchers is chosen using the Simple Random Sample.

As for results, the study come out with the following findings, universities do not offer research expenses, universities hardly make developments in scientific research so that it keeps up with recent changes, lack of modern academic references in university libraries, professors' inexperience in making academic research and the insufficient amounts of highly classified journals that the libraries offer.

Nevertheless, the researcher sets a group of actions that may help in overcoming the impediments mentioned above.

These include; (i) conducting researches on the methods that may help in recognizing the difficulties related to university and community, (ii) cooperating with all parties of the same interest in publishing distinguished researches, (iii) helping researchers to participate in scientific symposiums and (iv) establishing a database of researches to help all people of interest to easily access to or refer to all conducted researches.

The results also show that there are no considerable differences on averages of the impediments among researchers due to variations of age, gender or specialization at α) ≤0.05.
