The present study aimed to evaluate a metacognitive intervention based on the DELV program for the acquisition of students with learning disabilities, strategic behavior.

More specifically, he teaches cognitive and metacognitive strategies for a sample with learning disabilities and then transfers them to language and mathematics activities.

The research sample consisted of 24 students with learning disabilities, aged 8 to 12 years, who had metacognitively intervened individually and collectively in 16 sessions.

During these sessions, they solved non-academic tasks of the DELV Buchel and Buchel2014 program as well as school tasks (solving problems in mathematics and studying l anguage texts).

The results mdicated that this intervention allowed students to acquire strategies and transfer them to linguistic and mathematical activities.
