This research revolves around the reasons for the change of Ijtihad, which means that the legitimate ruling that is reached at one time, may change, but with acceptable reasons for the occurrence of this change.

The research limits these reasons in three areas: the first is the customs, conditions, places and times, and the second is to consider the results that lead to the provisions of legitimacy, and the third party is related to the evidence, which is used to reach the Islamic rule in a particular issue.

The research presented the evidence that makes the reasons for the change of Ijtihad, which have been shown, an acceptable reasons in this religion, and gave the examples from the history of Islamic jurisprudence; where the Sharia provisions have been changed, according to the general interests of Muslim societies.

By accepting the idea of changing Ijtihad, Islamic legislation demonstrates the flexibility and capacity of such a religion, which leaves no room for doubt, that this religion is valid for all times, places, circumstances and conditions, where the juri sprudence of the Sahaba and the great imams have been changed in some provisions, to open a path for those who are after them determines the features of the legislative approach among Muslims.
