The objective of this study is to highlight the potential of Algeria in the field of solar energy after the interest of the renewable energies sector, within the framework of the development policy applied, which aims primarily to diversify the economy as an important factor in securing energy supply in the medium and long term as a positive and necessary aspect in the light of insufficient fossil energy sources, In addition to its role in achieving sustainable development ,In order to study the subject, follow the analytical descriptive approach to prove the reality and prospects of the development of renewable energy in general and solar energy in particular in order to preserve the energy resources that are accessible and achieve future growth rates in the establishment of developmental projects that contribute to development.
