Recent advances in science and technology have transformed our modern society from its traditional industrial state to a society characterized by the use of information technology.

Therefore, higher education institutions need to manipulate, process, and use data in order to satisfy their teachers researchers needs while undertaking their research endeavours.

Educational institutions nowadays have to adapt themselves to the changing information technologies manifest in the different educational curricula in general and university curricula in particular.

As a result, universities worldwide provide a wide range of these resources and technologies in various domains and languages.

This study scrutinizes the different pedagogical needs of teachers at the Ecole Normale Superieure of Constantine as far as the use of electronic resources in the teaching process as well as the type of resources viable to meet their teaching needs.
