Tourism is an important economic activity under which Algeria can make it an alternative to hydrocarbon revenues by adopting a national policy that relies on it to deal with any crisis that may affect the national economy.

On this basis, the country adopted 17 years of planning in the short term, medium and long term for 20 years, to reach one goal of achieving sustainable development in all sectors.

The government approved the national plan for the preparation of the region in 2010 .

Therefore, a plan was prepared to prepare tourism 2025, which set the foundations of the future of tourism development by promoting investment in this type of activities, thanks to public institutions committed to providing tourism property and manage it according to investors' requests.
