The purpose of this study is to determine the level of Occupational Burnout among special education teachers in Ajloun Governorate.

The study is comprised of a population and a sample of all the special education teachers in Ajloun Governorate for the second semester of the academic year (2017-2018) and the number of (35) teachers.

The analytical descriptive approach was followed, and the Maslach scale was applied as a study tool consisting of (22) bullets for the following three dimensions of burnout: the emotional stress dimension, the sagging feelings dimension and the lack of sense of accomplishment dimension.

The study showed the following results: -The level of Occupational Burnout among special education teachers in Ajloun governorate was high.

-There are statistically significant differences (a=0.05) due to the impact of teaching experience in all dimensions and in the total score, the differences were in favor of the "5 years and above" category.

-The absence of statistically significant differences (a=0.05) due to the impact of scientific qualification in all dimensions and in the total score.

-There were statistically significant differences (a=0.05) due to the impact of the social situation in all dimensions and in the total score.

The differences were in favor of the marital status category.
